After seeing the tablet last year at IFA, it was immediately removed from the showroom. Fortunately, it was seen in some few sites ready for pre-order. This may be a sign that it will finally be launched within February-March 2012.

The device has a 7.7 inch that tab displays on a 1280×800 resolution. It is equipped with 1.4 GHZ dual-core process ad 1GB of RAM. Its operating system is Android 3.2 Honeycomb and the 1.4 GHZ Samsung chip.

Meanwhile, Acer has unveiled its Android-based Iconia Tab A200 on a 10.1-inch display.  It comes in 2 models: an 8GB Wi-Fi only model ad and 16GB Wi-fi only version. The prices are $330 and $350 respectively.   The new model is in addition to Acer’s tablet line-up having the 7-inch Iconia Tab A100 on the list. The prices are definite indicators that tablet price are dropping in the market.

A new series of gaming services was also unveiled by Dell. The new services will help beginner gamers to install the game and set it up for $39.

The X51 is 3.74 inches wide, 13.5 inches high, 12.52 inches deep. It almost resembles the Xbox of Microsoft.

In a blog post, John Blain said the reason for coming up with X51 is the s clamor for an efficient gaming system. He said they have acknowledged the crave of gamers for a system that will provide Alienware experience in a smaller and more versatile form in order to meet  the different environment people live in today. These environments include dorms, office, or inside your house. The idea of having X51 is that it can work for both at work and play. Now, the Alienware experience is more accessible.

Despite the new experience brought by X51, its power supply function is at 240 watts. It can also be connected to an HDTV through HDMI cable.

Meanwhile, the upcoming Wii U game console of Nintendo will come with a big, touch-enabled screen controller. Although, is seemed an obstacle at first, the Wii console came out to be a breakout hit.

The company emphasized that Wii U will be in a cheaper, almost-stick controllers in its goal to make family multi-player games possible.

Mozy’s Product Manager Ted Haeger said this is in line with their goal to increase the value people get from Mozy. The service always takes data preservation and protection as its core service.  In a statement, he added,  that preservation per se is no longer sufficient. The data should now be completely available to its customer as much as preservation.

The new feature tool is dubbed as Stash. With Stash, files can be synched between computers with local folders linked to online backup accounts of Mozy. Files can also be synched across mobile devices like tablets and smartphones.

The company has first released its web service in 2011 which initially allowed users to download from storage accounts online to any computer. The service is also made available to iOS and Android devices.

The best thing about the tool is that it comes free to those who have paid and even free accounts on Mozy.

On the same line, Nexica, a Spanish provider of services on ICT Infrastructure which includes critical application hosting and cloud computing, has chosen EMC-VNX unified storage. EMC Corporation announced the news today. Nexica will also incorporate Cisco UCS and VMwarevirtualization and cloud technologies to run their public cloud service which has been launched recently. The service is expected to perform exceptionally with simplicity, efficiency, and data protection.

In its opening scenes, Neeson’s character has written a letter to his deceased wife that his too much grief has brought him to the freezing ends of the earth along with desperate and hollow men.

The iPad’s development period took a long time. Alan Kay, a computer pioneer possessed a tablet computer called Dynabook in 1968. Ubuntu announced last year that their open source operating system will soon be available to mobile devices. Mark Shuttleworth, the founder of Ubuntu said that this will be found in mobile devices, tablets, smart screens on car and office kitchen, and on TVs. These devices will be connected to their desktop as well as the server and the cloud.

Although the Ubuntu’s mobile strategy has been followed by much debate, doubts still exist on whether it can compete well with other open sources — the Linux-based option.

After their announcement, Ubuntu has kept mum about the progress of its mobile and smart device.

The Ubuntu smart TV interface was introduced by Canonical. The new breed of TV is said to be the TV of the future. It has no cables, no boxes, and no hassles. Ubuntu aims to make it an uncomplicated TV for any viewer while still providing the services and options they have been used to. The TV provides streaming contents, broadcast shows, and access media files while using the cloud.

Meanwhile, cable network have embraced the use of television and is now improving its social apps. FX and USA are just few of the cable networks which have been working on campaigns on social TV and show integrations.

The news reported that WebMD shares tumbled by 27.4 percent including the 10 percent of stake owned by the activist investor Carl Icahn.

The first “two-way” television experience is a  partnership between Microsoft technology and the classic children show “Sesame Street.”  The show’s character includes Elmo, Grover, and Cookie Monster who will prompt the children to take an action while watching the show.

Microsoft demonstrated the show to be like this: a little girl threw coconuts and Grover will count each one. Amazingly, the little girl is able to jump into the scene and prance.

Indeed, the new show is something personal and interactive. Also, having Sesame Street characters around can really engage children and adults being inside the screen.
