During the post-award parties for Golden Globes, plenty of drama were seen. It seems like Madonna and Elton John’s cold war continued because of the event. Elton John and his partner David Furnish were clearly pissed off by Madonna’s comment for the best film song by Sir Elton.
An angry note was posted by Furnish on Facebook referring to Madonna. (“Best Song? F— off!”) The partners continued to talk about the Material Mom’s award and acceptance speech. They both called it to be self-indulgent.
John was more furious when Madonna mentioned that the song was an afterthought. It was only added after the movie was completed.
But the feud started years ago when John commented that Madonna was merely a “lip-syncher.” In addition, Furnish and John are also constantly insulting her fake British accent.
But Madonna was seen telling the press how she hopes that John would soon speak to her for the next years. John has been known to be always mad at her. She added, “I adore him. And I don’t feel bad.”
Rumors say Madonna was less gracious after reading the comments posted by Furnish’s on Facebook.
Meanwhile, Nicole Richie and Jessica Simpson seem to have taken some time at the 2012 Golden Globes red carpet to settle the rumored tiff between the two. The two Fashion Star co-stars have not seen each other eye-to-eye, but continuous comparisons have been made between them. Richie was able to clear the issue by assuring everyone that the reality show is perfectly fine for the two stars.
During the pre-Golden Globes show, Richie stated that they have been friends for a long time. The two will appear on NBC’s upcoming reality fashion show to mentor promising designers.
